Mitch grew up on a farm/ranch outside of Brush, Colorado. He attended Northeastern Junior College and then Colorado State University, graduating with a double major in Ag Business and Animal Science. While attending NJC, he did an internship with Bank of Colorado in Sterling, and was heavily involved with the Livestock Judging Program.
Mitch began his banking career in 2003 working over 10 years in La Junta, Colorado prior to relocating back to Northeast Colorado. He brings over 15 years of Ag/Community banking experience to his leadership role as Market President in Akron. He is active in the local 4-H and FFA programs and youth sports activities and is an Elder for the First Presbyterian Church. Mitch has a high priority of serving his customers and the communities in Washington County.
