Kevin Johnson

I have spent most of my adult life in western Colorado, since moving to Gunnison/Crested Butte after graduating high school, to attend Western State Colorado University.  It was there that I first experienced and fell in love with the raw beauty and ruggedness of rural Colorado and found the joy of the lifelong connections that are made in a “close knit” community.  I graduated in 2002 with bachelor’s degree in business administration.  After initially working in retail sales and restaurant management positions, I began my banking career to bring greater access to financial services and potential capital to the friends and businesses in my community.  I quickly grew into the role of Business and Commercial Lender and subsequently relocated from Gunnison to Montrose near the end of 2007.  I now continue my career in financial services by joining Bank of Colorado as Vice President and Loan Officer, in March of 2025 and look forward to continuing to connect businesses and families to the wide range of financial services we can offer our amazing Montrose community!
